greenbelt and stripping

no, it's not nearly as exciting as the title suggests

in the spirit of 'returning from greenbelt with crap food you never ate there', i am having a pot noodle for lunch. today has been ok on the work front so far, interspersed with looking for a photo of a load of people staring at a big ice block. i didn't find the photo, but did find my tesco clubcard.

yesterday i bought a sander in homebase (B&Q don't do them! how odd) without my spend and save card - i have no idea where that is . I'm not very good with store cards really. thought i would spend yesterday evening finishing off stripping the woodchip from the walls in the living room (with the steamer i bought from B&Q, home of bargains, unless you're looking for a sander, cos they don't do them) - however, half a wall was done and now one and a bit is done. please, please, never ever put woodchip on your walls. it's taken nearly 4 years to get round to decorating the living room (which is white, so it's been ok) - i suspect it will take that long again to remove the sodding woodchip.

i read martyn joseph's diary of his time in brazil today, read it at http://www.fish.co.uk/world/features/joseph_1.html. i heard him talk about it at greenbelt.
