in 3.5 months the following things have happened. I changed my mind about bible college (too much debt for something i wasn't as sure about as i should have been to spend that kind of cash, really), finished a load of essays, started my dissertation, got a job which starts in October, am 40 miles east (hopefully in September) because that's where the job is.
did think of commuting till about christmas. thought again and decided that was a silly idea seeing as i have to have my car for work, so i would have had a 12 hour day every weekday, 3 of which would have been driving to and from. Then i would have had to have gone to bed about 3.5 hours after i got in. Not the absolute best.
the job is a great one. well i would think that now, i haven't started yet.
have recently sorted out a bout of properly bad insomnia using such techniques as going to bed and getting out of it at the same time every day (ah now that wasn't quite what i meant was it. that would just be silly), cutting out caffiene and right down on alcohol and taking herbal knock-me-out tablets before bed. It has all worked pretty well for about a week and a half, but seems to be going badly this night!!
was lovely to see some wibloggers the other week at the graduation do of one of our number. will be lovely to catch up with all and sundry at greenbelt. meanwhile i devote myself to dissertation, and catching up on all the wiblogs i have been missing in my accidental time out (which is going to continue for a while, i suspect, while i get the diss done).
