it's really warm, i'm in work working, i have a mere 18 days to go before starting the phd, i have had a google hit from 'house woodworm treatment costs' instead of the usual 'chalk board', tonight I am popping out to purchase no less than a couple of replacement floorboards for my room and a pot of some wax or varnish or something as tomorrow I am stripping the bedroom floor and redressing it again all lovely.
i do love doing floors (it's like extreme hoovering, i must have said that before somewhere) but not when it's 26 degrees and sunny outside. taking a day of leave on a day like that and then staying in to do the floors seems wrong...
