number of days to go in work - 6 (have a day of annual leave to come and finish next thurs).
number of days till building is finished - 0. it's done now... but possibly a few days until the loose ends are tied up (some electrics and a bit of attention to a skirting board!)
number of days to finish chapters - 8. Scary but possible.
number of days till beginning the phd - 9
number of hours sleep i will get between now and end of september - place your bets...
