it's been. welcome back chalky. it's been a sunfest in cornwall followed by a few days mostly in cardiff that i blame for my lack of blogging. All fun. Highlights: eden project - enormously inspiring that someone could have an idea like that and then just make it happen. great ethos and great place. The lost gardens of helegan - a fantastic hidden treasure, we thought it would just be some gardens and we'd spend a couple of hours there but no, we were there a whole day and i still don't think we did the whole thing. had a great time overall.
back in cardiff and discovering that the dissertation i have to do (because my funding was gained on the basis of that proposal, if you follow) is actually very interesting and I'm enjoying it substantially. i can feel a phd application coming on although not for next year. Hurrah.
