despite having finished essays, here i am, still wiblogging, just about.
have had a great few days of celebrating my freedom from work, accidentally on monday night when i meant to stay out for a couple of quiet drinks ended up getting home at 3 and feeling like poo for most of tuesday, but sufficiently recovered to have a much more sensible night out in cardiff last night. although there was still a fair amount of alcohol involved, but what can i say... high tolerance (not that that's a good thing!)
anyway today, you know, it is brilliantly sunny and just nicely cold. i was walking up from the station to uni this morning and all seemed right with the world. It isn't, but it felt like it for a minute.
so essays done, life is back to normal - although when i said that to one of my lovely housemates this morning she kind of went 'hmmm', implying that my life is never quite normal, which is quite true.
last night the taxi driver that dropped me off from the station at 1.30am waited outside my house until i'd got in ok. I thought that was really sweet. it's the kind of thing you'd like to thank somebody for but you don't know who they are, and they've gone. it was funny cos he wasn't very communicative in general, then did that nice thing.
i am having a lovely day aren't i!
