in the last 7 days I have written three mother's day cards (to my mum and both nans) and a postcard to keep in touch with friends in northern ireland. Now all I have to do is send them. That's where it gets tricky (not least because the mother's day cards shouldn't really go till a week and a half's time...)
also i have sorted out the car/royal mail fiasco (if you really want to know, see yesterday's entry...), played a lot of cello, co-sanded and varnished the living room floor, read quite a bit of gordon lynch's 'after religion' and visited a friend in England overnight. So in addition to all the normal life stuff you got to do, i would say that's been a fairly productive week. I award myself a gold star.
