What do you think of this for a name “Thinadhoomaahuttaa” ? Or this “Hanghghaameedhoo”? Both are names of uninhabited islands in the middle of the Maldives.
I have spent the last week or so placing names for the 1000 or so Maldivian islands on a large map.
You can imagine it is pretty easy to make a typing error.
But imagine further...I am also placing Japanese characters, supplied by a translator, beside each name. This is sending me crazy as I cannot read japanese.
I imagine some Japanese tourists are going to either get really lost, or at best have a good laugh!
