Next weekend, my congregation goes away for the annual church camp.
These are great times of refreshing. Fellowship is number one.
The theme for this years camp is living life to the full.
We don't bring in outside speakers but a few of us have a go at leading activities or workshops, there is always a Saturday night concert which is just great fun, and Sunday morning worship is usually very relaxed yet powerful.
This year for some strange reason I volunteered to do an activity, and before I could stop myself I said the theme of my time would be workplace spirituality.
This is a topic that interests me but I really don't know much about it, and I think I thought that if I led something on it, I would be forced to do some research and therefore grow in my own understanding.
Well now I'm quietly stressing.
Most of the material I've been reading talks about business ethics, honesty etc. and I am just not sure how to explain the connection between these things and a persons spirituality.
Maybe the problem is that I'm having trouble getting my head around a definition of spirituality.
Any suggestions?
