Tractor girl made me feel like having a beer. I don't drink much, but in summer I like the occasional “amber sandwich”...I know It's not summer but it's coming, the air has a warm feel to it...so
I am sitting in my office (the shed), my youngest is on the other computer looking up music on the web, my wife's off for the night at a Christian womens conference, and there is this huge spotted slug crawling up the glass door. (These slugs are big slimey spotted things about 10cm long, I've never seen them anywhere else I have lived, they could be unique to here...slugsville!)
Anyway, I have in my mind an old 8mm home movie of our wedding. We were married in 1972, my brother took a short (2 minute) movie on that January day and presented it to us. Not having a projector, the movie stayed in the bottom of my sock drawer for over 33 years without us viewing it. Recently, as I was contemplating a present for my wifes birthday, I saw the movie spool under my last pair of holeproofs and thought Uhuh! convert to DVD.
So I did, and it was wonderful. We were so young and slim..what a blast from the past.
It's great to have memories
