Parables with birds

Several years ago I remember feeling depressed about something and I was sitting at my desk that was for a time set up in our lounge room. We have a big window that looks out into the front garden and there's a cherry plum tree just in front of the window (there are fourteen cherry plum trees in our front yard).
As I daydreamt, a white eagle (or hawk) came and landed in the tree (Out of the corner of my eye I think I saw it chasing a sparrow).
I'd never seen one of these before, it sat there for about 20 minutes. It's hard to explain but a real sense of peace came over me as we eyed each other through the glass.
After it flew away, my troubles seemed to fly with it and I was left wondering whether God's Spirit (the comforter) can come in the form of a white bird... it had that sort of effect on me.
I'm not obsessed with our feathered friends but birds have always been part of my life. I have had a few experiences which I think of as “parables with birds” where life lessons have come to me and birds have been involved.
I might share a few of these over the next months if you promise not to think I'm weird.
