Today is a typical summer day around here and it's barely May.
It's humid, and all round on the map are torrential thunderstorms. We'll get our share soon enough I'm sure.
I hate to surrender to it and give up and say uncle and turn on the air conditioning. Hate it. So I won't until I am driven to it.
So I sit here trying not to perspire on the keyboard.
The alopecia continues to wax and wane as is its wont. I have as usual lightened my hair with lots of platinum and golden and caramel and red streaks, thus in the chaos making the thinning spots unnoticeable. I'll put up some photos online soon, I promise. :)
Blackberries are ripe - the wild ones are done, I mean the domestic ones. They're roaring along full-tilt. These may be called "dewberries" in some of the books; they look like blackberries to me, though, and that's what the nursery label said when my sister bought the plant.
I'm sitting here with purple fingers, lips and tongue, hah.
Like a blonde chow dog.
