Day at the shop started with a customer who needed me to help her pick out a blue shirt, a tie and some socks for her ward who had just died.

Something that would look good in a coffin.

He'd been one of those folks who never grow old, a perpetual infant. Never walked or spoke. Died in his forties at the institution that was his home.

Somehow I think he's loving how those pretty new socks feel on that golden pavement. :D

And the lady's husband, brother of her ward, had just died a year ago, of cancer in his fifties.

Rough. Life is hard.

But God is good.
