Labyrinth again

We did another Labyrinth at church today. This is part of the reason I haven't been around much lately - it's taken a lot of organising and we haven't had much time to get it done. So now I am relaxing with a glass of wine and a packet of maltesers and feeling calmer than I have in a while.

In some ways it was easier than the Christmas one, as people in the church are now more familiar with the whole idea and there were more volunteers to help out, provide stuff for installations etc.

All feedback was good, as last time, which is great, although I think D and I are now at the point of going to the people who run our church and saying 'right, if you want us to do this regularly, we're buying a mat', rather than fiddling about with masking tape every time.

Mr b had Groover while I spent the day at church. They came and met me for lunch and during a quiet bit I took Groover in and took him round, just whispering a little bit about each installation as we went. We got to one with nails, and I said
"These are to remind us that even when the people were really hurting Jesus, he still asked God to forgive them"
*Groover gives mummy very serious look*
"Yes, they really hurt him - they put big nails like these through his hands and his feet on the cross"
*Groover gets very wide eyed, and points with the index finger of one hand into the palm of the other, like a nail*
*Cue near emotional collapse of mummy*

We've been saying to each other for a while that Groover really is understanding everything now, much more than we sometimes realise, but still, that was really unexpected.
