For a mini-man.

Groover is currently obsessed with ladybirds. So when I found a ladybird print fabric I had to get some, and decide what to do with it. This bag is the result. I am quite pleased with it although if I did it again there are a couple of bits I would do differently. Still, Groover likes it. Under the flap are two ladybird buttons hiding, and it is lined with the ladybird fabric, a strip of which also decorates the front. Closes with velcro, for hours of noise-making fun. I love how much Groover looks like he's really modelling the bag in this picture - actually I just caught him right, as he was walking along. A second later, I took this action shot:

And here's a rare one of me and him (as I am usually on the other side of the camera).

The big grassy area is at the end of our road. Our road is just to Groover's left in the picture, we are three houses up on the far side. So if you ever need to find us, now you can! It's great having the green at the end of the road. The neighbourhood kids tend to end up out there on summers evenings - a good way to meet your neighbours properly as we all stand around watching the children fall off their bikes supervise our children.
