I have decided not to write at length about last night's homegroup on the grounds that it is kind of mean to bang on about somebody behind their back, even if
a) you don't name them
b) the listeners/readers will never know who they are
c) they won't know about it either.
Let's just say, you know how sometimes there are views which you know somewhere, somebody holds, but you associate those views with a distant lunatic fringe and not anyone you know? Well I encountered some of the views in question in the flesh last night and am still slightly reeling.
