On the day we found out about Groover having spina bifida, as we drove back to the campsite where we were staying (I've told you about the camping thing haven't I?), we rounded a corner to park the car and there was an immense, bright rainbow over the campsite. We both found it extremely comforting, and rainbows make me smile to myself every time I see one now.
I'm not one to imagine that God is tweaking the meteorological conditions for my comfort and convenience, but I must say that I have found the abundance of rainbows hopping around the sky here over the last few days very soothing, in what has been a Very Bad Week Indeed.
I think things are getting better now.
