Is a question I expect to be asked rather a lot over the next couple of days.
The answer is: Waiting for Sunday, when I can take Ginger back to hospital for her rescheduled surgery on Monday. There weren't enough Intensive Care nurses because of the snow.
Freaking Out has occurred, due mainly to extreme tiredness while signing consent forms and having the scary conversation with the surgeon which involves percentage risks of Something Bad which are a lot less close to 0 than one would like. Also heart surgeons saying things like 'look, this is a big, big operation' do nothing to calm the nerves.
Whether Freaking Out will occur again on Monday or we've got it over with now, remains to be seen.
