1. I have just sent myself a Christmas card. I'm making them you see, and I realised, having made my first trial one, that it might not survive the post. So I've posted it to myself. My breath is bated... will the little origami stars still be stars or just flat pentagons? Watch this space.
2. Mr b has bought a laptop. He is sitting in the spare room, face bathed in the glow from the screen, with a look of childlike wonder and excitement. We may not see him for some time.
3. I have turned into a madwoman who talks to strangers in the street. There was a woman at the post box with a baby in the same sort of baby carrier I have. They're quite unusual so I commented on it. We stood there chatting for ten minutes.
4. The most interesting thing I learnt at church last night is that 'flip chart pad' is 'flipoverblok' in some other language. Probably an eastern european one. This pleased me. I did, however, teach several people how to make origami stars.
