As you'll recall, I was expecting to go over to the hospital first thing in the morning on the 20th (and expecting to be away about three weeks). Because of this, the house was sparkly clean, there was no food to be had apart from in the freezer, and generally nothing to do.
I'll spare you a description of the boredom of the day, as we were waiting for a phone call from the hospital to tell us we could go, we couldn't really leave the house. I do vaguely remember being so bored I printed out a list for mr birdie of what food was in the freezer, sorted by which drawer it was in, and the date it was put there.
We finally got the go-ahead to go over to the hospital at about 6.30pm! Got there about 8.30 and had my first dose of hormone to get things going at 10.30pm.
