All of a sudden there is a lot to write about.
Firstly, I notice that Chalky has been noodling about with Myers Briggs. So I had a bit of a noodle too, and, as always, turned out INFJ. This always amazes me. I'm largely pretty sceptical about Myers Briggs, as I think it just takes the answers you've given and repackages them in a way which makes it all sound very insightful, effectively just telling you what you've said. However.... I've done Myers Briggs at various times, and I'm always, always INFJ. I'm even always the same strength of expression - very strongly expressed introvert, all the others moderate. Doesn't matter what mood I'm in, what's going on around me, how long it's been since I last did it, it always seems to come out the same. Spooky.
There is one bit in the description though, which made me feel much better the first time I read it:
They are, in fact, sometimes mistaken for extroverts because they appear so outgoing and are so genuinely interested in people -- a product of the Feeling function they most readily show to the world. On the contrary, INFJs are true introverts, who can only be emotionally intimate and fulfilled with a chosen few from among their long-term friends, family, or obvious "soul mates."
The number of times people have been surprised when I say I need time on my own to recharge may batteries, or whatever ("but you're such a people person")- I should just point them in the direction of that link.
(Also, there is an entertaining list of 'famous INFJs' on that site. Including Nathan, Prophet of Israel. They know this how, precisely?)
Moving on...
Baby b's gums are now okay. He took an unconventional route to improved oral health, by flinging himself chin first onto mr b's knee this time, and causing more alarming bleeding. However, on examining the gum, the slightly alarming blueish black lump which had appeared by one tooth after the first flight attempt had disappeared. So it appears that the first time round he managed to cause some sort of strange blood blister, which he dispatched with the second impact. Clever kid.
Oh, and GLORY HALLELUJAH I gave him goats milk earlier and he seemed to be okay on it. He has been referred to the paediatric dietician though.
Have said 'no' to the BBC as there is rather a lot of Real Life going on around here and I think it would all just be too stressful. (This Real Life is related to the hurriedly deleted entry last month. I really hope to be able to tell you about that soon.)
Anyway I have lots more to write but mr b wants the computer. Did you notice all that code?
