Windy Miller. No, wait, that doesn't work. Watery Miller?

Anyway. So much response to one little hare-brained fantasy. (At this point I keep hearing my friend R saying "that's not hare-brained. Hare-brained implies the presence of a brain. That's brainless").

Chalky - here are 449,000 reasons why we won't, in reality, do this. It does look lovely though, doesn't it?

We are seriously considering solar panels though. Big sister has just had them fitted, and is positive so far. I've sent off for more information so I'll keep you posted on that one.

Tiffer - yes, it looks like that might be the tv programme I saw a snippet of the other week. Is he a smiley bloke with a military bearing and impressive moustache?

Dave - I was initially thinking of this as a birdie family project, but do you know, I think a wibsite commune might just work. And having a functioning water wheel would give that poor hamster a rest. It could be the answer to all the wibsite's recent problems!

As I was tooling around the internet looking for pictures of the mill in town, I found this, which is also not far from us. I cannot believe someone lives in this, with a working wheel, and hasn't thought of hooking the wheel up to a generator. Madness.

And apparently it's in a "sylvan setting" howsabout that?
