Apron

I've noticed that in the many craft-based blogs I read, there seems to be a bit of an obsession with aprons. I don't really understand it. People make them, and collect 'vintage' ones, and all sorts. There's even a craft group where a challenge is issued every month to make a particular sort of apron, and the results are posted on a special flickr group.
Like I said, I don't really get the fascination. But I was looking at the pictures of the challenge to make an apron out of a tea-towel, and it struck me as a very good idea indeed. So I made one.
I have surprised myself by really liking it quite a lot. Indeed.
But I promise I won't become apron-obsessed.
