Jan, if I could knit I would understand your comment! As it is the thought of actual pointy needles brings me out in a bit of a sweat. Now I have my knitting dolly (and by the way, is that what everyone else calls them? I suspect there are many different names), I think I'll stick with it! I know, I know, I'm useless!
Aunty D - it's not the spacing I meant. You see at the bottom of both sides of the bag where the blanket stitch is a bit blah? That's the couple of stitches it took, on both sides, to get the thing going properly, despite having practiced on a spare bit of fabric beforehand.
