Remember I referred a while ago to some top secret craft activity? It was something that I made for Person A to give to Person B as a birthday present.

Unusually for me, I was very pleased with it indeed when I finished it (I can usually see faults in everything I make, especially if it's going to someone else). I've been really looking forward to hearing if Persons A and B liked it.

So why, Royal Mail, is this the parcel you choose to lose? Eh? Answer me that. Also, tell me how precisely you've managed to lose it! A card was put through the door of Person A saying you'd tried to deliver it but no-one was in (a card, if I understand correctly, which was dated several days after the date it was put through the door. Very impressive. Is the postman a Time Lord?), so it had been taken back to the sorting office. So where would it be now other than the sorting office? I just don't understand how you've managed it. The parcel was not small. It can't have slipped down the back of anything. So how the heck have you managed to lose the thing??

I am biting back some serious Language here.
