Inconsequential piffle

(Like I ever write anything else)

I have a new coat. It is very lovely indeed and I am resisting the temptation to run about in it shouting 'look at my new coat'.

Last winter my boring grey winter coat died, and I decided I would buy a really decent one this winter to last a few years. The one I have got is an acid green sort of colour, with red buttons, and a purple lining.

I ordered it online and although the colour of the coat was pretty accurate on the picture, the lining looked blue and the buttons orange. When it arrived and the buttons turned out to be the same colour as the red handbag I made a few weeks ago, and the lining a beautiful deep purple colour, my excitement was something to behold.

I think apart from my wedding dress it's the most expensive thing I've ever bought, but it is really well made and should last a very long time.

I am pleased. Can you tell?
