I had so much to do this morning before taking baby b to toddlers. I knew I was going to have a lot to do so I was super-organised.
I was very proud of myself that, by 9.30am, I had soup in the slow cooker, and a batch of muffins out of the oven to be taken to friend D, who isn't well, on the way to toddlers, and offer to take her boy M to toddlers with us if she needed a break.
'Just time for a quick breakfast' I thought to myself, 'and we'll be at toddlers for 10'.
At that point I looked out of the window and noticed the neighbours' rabbit on our lawn.
Half an hour of slipper-shod rabbit herding later, I flung baby b and all his its and bits in the car, flung the muffins in a box, flung them and myself in the car and flung us all down the hill to D's, where I flung myself out of the car, flung the muffins into D's kitchen, ascertained that M wasn't coming to toddlers with us, flung myself back in the car and got to toddlers at 10.30.
I'm all flung out.
