Hello fans, Groover here.
Just passing on a tip to any other toddlers who might be reading. As a toddler, you might find it's easier to communicate to your Parental Units those things that you don't like or don't want, than the things you actually do want. No-one can deny that 'no' is a useful word; however, as the song says, sometimes you have to aaaaaccentuate the positive, eeeeliminate the negative. Here's a little illustration of how I did that today:
When shopping for wellies, when the Mother tries a pair on you that you really like, you can communicate this by laughing delightedly at your reflection in the mirror with them on, and shouting "boots! boots!". Then, when she tries to take them off you to go and pay for them, make your displeasure known. She will get the message that the blue wellies with frogs on are the ones you absolutely must have.
Also, a message for Smudgie: apparently, the parents might be bringing me to the Isle of Wight one weekend in March. Nothing is finalised yet, but I'll get them to let you know.
