I will admit, what I wrote yesterday is a bit on the grumpy side and sort of undermines just what a great day I had up in Snowdon!!! (362miles, 7.5hrs drive, 5hrs hiking/climbing) And people tell me it's not a day trip away!! Though I so need to find someone else to come, and if they can drive, that would be nice!!
Thankfully the lovely sun on my walk in today has cheered me up. Which is good as I've had my third night, in a row where I've failed to get to sleep till about an hour before me alarms clocks are due to go off. But I'm working tonight so I should be tired and I need to get some shopping done before settling down to watch the wedding tomo.
I was most impressed with the funeral of JPII this morning, it was very moving, though I will admit that I did doze off (see bit about not getting to sleep) between the Gospel reading (by a trainee priest from Birmingham) and the Peace, so through the Sermon then....... well, that'll be from practice then!!! ;)
I've also gotten to see Matty with her new specs. Though, as she's not wearing them at this moment I'm unable to call her specky-four eyes...... but as she will be wearing them when/if she reads this (and if not, you're supposed to!!!) Specky-four eyes!!! hehehehe!!!!!
[nb-and before you all complain, I should point out that I wear specs, and unlike Matty, I have to wear them all the time!!!! :P]
That and they do suit her!!!! (please don't hit me!!!)
