Yesterday, for a short while I thought that the bag with my laptop and work had been pinched while I was away. This was understandably disconcerting and very worrying. Thankfully the bag had mearly been "tidied" and put under and behind stuff, so that's not too bad.........
However, as I'd only discovered the tidying operation today I spent a fair bit of last night having kittens. So I treated myself and bought Sleepless In Seattle on dvd. And then watched it.
Then watched the behind the scenes and then started to watch the film with director's commentary.
In the 'behind the scenes' doco Meg Ryan says that one of the aspects of the film is to make you wonder what your perfect partner is doing right this minute....... (assuming you've not with them already!!!) For instance, while I'm sitting here writing this blog entry, is perhaps my "Miss Perfect" writing one of her own, somewhere else....??? I'm at work this evening, might we bump into each other then, and not realise......???
Do you know them already, will you see them next week, will you possibly never cross paths.....??? Or maybe they're standing in the next queue in Tesco.
Of course, there's no gaurantee of getting together with your one true love, to quote Annie's (Meg) friend from Sleepless - "You don't want to fall in love, you want to fall in love in a movie!!"
Of course, there's nothing wrong with that. Certainly nothing wrong with wanting that to be the case. Whether it will or not, that's a different matter!!!!
