Now, those of us who were 80's children might well have watched several fantastic cartoon series that were shown on tv at the time. One of which was The Mysterious Cities of Gold a ripping yarn set in the 1530's following three children and their search for the City of Gold.
I mention this as finally after two years I've gotton round to borrowing the series on VCD off my friend Ece. It is very much how I remembered it from my childhood, and I'm most certainly enjoying it. Even if it doesn't work on my desktop and my laptop seems to be dying!!!! But I can watch it in Uni on the computers!!!
You know, sometimes I think I'm very lucky to have been an eighties child. We had all the best cartoons in the 80's, Thunderbirds, He-man, Round the World in Eighty Days, Dogtanian, Ulysees 31 and many, many others..... oh happy days!!!!
And for no more reason than burntsienna did, July was a good month for visiters for me as well, 301, over three hundred for the first time!!! Yay!!!!
