I was going to write something today, I can't remember what though, for a very good reason.
I was reading The Times and on page five about an A level student who'd gotten 11 A* GCSE's, 4 'A' grades at A level and was on her way to Oxford to study Chemistry, who drowned off Beachy Head leaving a note that simply said Life is simply not for me.
She seemed to be happy and well contented, her boyfriend described her as being "always very happy and extremely cheery and was the most upbeat character I had ever known".
And so there's a part of me that just sees the waste of human life, not just only a life, but a life that was showing such promise and for no apparent reason.
Another story that makes me wonder was the story about a new-born baby girl who was found, wrapped up in a blanket in a phone-box. She's ok, and is being looked after in Princess Royal University Hospital where staff have named her Paula.
