Now, I would be the last one to sit down with a cup of tea and have a good old gossip, like the old woman that I am, but I'm starting to wonder where MrG is spending a lot of his free time recently........
Now working five days a week, 9-5 I understand the whole going to bed early thing, but, he's also into this dissapear for most of the evening, a couple of times a week. On Saturday, he left about 9.30am, didn't get back till gone midnight......
I would hate to suggest that he's found a MrsG and simply hasn't told us (though he has suggested such a thing) but I am currious........
Who here remembers playing cricket in school??? Who here was that the last time they played cricket??? Week Saturday (20th) I'm playing in the Physic's Staff - Student cricket match. Understandable, being a very long time since I've either batted (left handed) or bowled (left arm spin) LordS (who's also playing) and I decided to get some time in the nets..... I say nets, there weren't actually any nets there, just the poles.....
It went well I thought. We had no gloves, no pads, but we both bowled slow and it wasn't too bad. I managed to get the ball to turn both ways (Yes!!!) and caught LordS in the knackers (if you know what I mean), twice (double Yes!!!).
A few hours more practice is needed I feel...... and as anyone who knows how to bowl spin, about three years worth!!!! So, if you're free on the 20th, fancy seeing the staff humiliated, come along..... I don't know where or when yet, but when I do.... you're more than welcome!!!
