There is plenty of petrol in the country. Due to reports of possible fuel protests people have been panic buying. As people have been panic buying petrol stations have been running out of petrol. There is plenty of petrol in the country.

It's one of those really quite funny things, well, it would be if it wasn't for the fact that it's actually happening!! I was listening to the radio this morning an they were talking about making a "minimum purchase" order of £30 to try and stop people from just "topping up" which is where most of the problems lie. Of course, people with small cars may not have a petrol tank that's big enough for thirty pounds of petrol. I know that my car would barely make it, if the tank was empty, and had been driven around for a couple of days with it at the empty....

Channel Four mannaged it's greatest ever share of the TV viewers yesterday, beating both BBC1 and ITV as people tuned in to watch the final of the Ashes Test Series as England won (well, drew....).

So isn't it ironic that at a time when the popularity of cricket is at it's highest for many a year it will no longer be available for free on terestial tv having been bought by the evil empire BSkyB till 2009. All I can say is thank God that the BBC got radio rights and so Test Match Special will still be around!!!
