Today I got my third piece of mail through the post........ which is always gauranteed to make me feel good. It was only a postcard, but that'll do!!!
This is a good thing, considering since the NHL season has started my team (The Leafs) have lost all three games played so far, all of them to local teams (Montreal, Ottawa(x2)). In the case of the Ottawa games, they have both been decided by the new rule that games can't finish with a draw after Overtime, and so go to a shoot-out. We are the worse team in the Eastern Conference, and one from bottom in the entire league.....the next game, tonight, against Philadelphia Flyers (who have knocked the Leafs out of the Playoffs twice in recent years).
But I've picked up some good wallpapers for the computer from their site so all is not lost. Yet. Including a not particularly attractive woman wearing only a hocket top (hockey tops are big, for those of you who might worry about that).
Compleatly unrelated, I've discovered that the periodic table comes in Italian (though I can imagine why I hadn't realised this before).... how cool is that!!!!
I also have to thank the Uni Rag for giving such a usefully sized target to shoot, I mean photo of George Galloway (Respect MP).
