As tempting as it is to write how much I like to eat both potatoes and bacon I thought I'd see what else there is about them. So I googled "potatoes and bacon" and found lots and lots and lots of recipies....... not quite what I wanted..... so I broke the problem down.
I searched "Potatoe". That was more interesting.
There was, of course, the 1992 incidence where US Vice-President Dan Quayle told a 12 year old that he'd misspelt potato and made him go put an "e" on the end. Or you may want to buy some potatoes from the Sun Valley Potatoe Growers, Inc. Or there are some cool photos from a Mr Potatoe. For Potatoe Chips that look like things, this is the place to go. Actually, I'm really impressed, especially at the Marilyn Munroe!!!
To finish with Potatoe, I thought BBC Kent could tell us how to cook Hot Potatoe Salad.
Now Bacon is that much harder..... There's Kevin Bacon, Francis Bacon, but, thankfully, also Canadian Bacon. A film from 1995 where the US, suffering from a slow economy and a president with low ratings starts up a Cold War....... with Canada....!!!! Staying in Canada, the blog Bacon and Eh's, home of the 30,000 Calorie Sandwich...... From the Canadian magazine Bacon (what is it with Canadians and Bacon....??????) how guys can spot chick flicks.
Such a shame that this was pretty much written before I go tthe message to put it in verse.....
