Well, the ball's over and it could have been worse....... for yet another year I've decided not to take a game or something along, and then regretted it..... just as something to do!!! I also came very, very close to punching out someone who I can't name without swearing...... cause he's a tit. I have since been given permission to clock him..... so all is well!!!
I've also been told that I'm going to be set up with one of the Altos from our choir because "our kids would be cute and fluffy". And to make it that bit more interesting I've also been told that I have to seduce Wizzy if anything, to stop tit-boy (from above) from trying to get his grubbly little paws on her...... one of my main problems with this is that she does have a boyfriend already. Don't mind my feelings either...... set me up with someone and have me seduce another..... what sort of person am I supposed to be????
However, by all means, do not assume that it was all bad!!! No, there were (as always) some good parts. The beach was lovely, and I got to have a lovely chat on the phone to Ece (it surprised me that I got through and so wasn't really prepared for a phonecall). I managed to avoid the dancefloor for the entire evening (more or less) and took Bottle down to the beach. (have since managed to tease her by saying how pretty she looked.....I always find it funny how some people get embarrassed when you tell them that)
