Well, all my pressents are wrapped, cards are written (and those that needed sending are sent). Which is rather efficient of me. So all that's really left is to wait for my clothes to dry so I can pack them and head home. Maybe I should have washed them before last night.....????
Of course, it was a bit of an effort to get it all done. When I set out yesterday to get the last two pressies litttle did I realise it would take me over four hours to travel across town and back. Only to get to Uni to discover that the library is closing early "for the holidays", hence no blog yesterday. For those of you who pay attention to the days and then wonder where I was on Monday....... ummmmm, I'm not sure.......
I think that it had something to do with a series of late nights (or early mornings.... I don't know how you would describe 5.30-6am finishes) where I was writing Christmas cards. I say cards, it was infact only three cards, but they were properly written with lots of writting inside. Something that I have noticed when I write, if there are no lines I write in very small handwriting, which means I end up fitting a lot in..... I should have picked smaller cards......
And for Yip who wants to mention last week's Sens-Leafs game (the Sens won 8-2) I'm just going to smile in the knowledge that it's not going to be me who has to explain to her mum that despite another Christmas Pressie, we're not dating...... :p
Also, having checked the current weather conditions for Ottawa.... -20C, of course, it is about 9.30am over there now.... though it looks like it's going to be warmer for the Christmas Weekend.... looks like it's going to be warmer here as well...... though possibly the begining of a cold snap for Christmas..... down to +6C!!!! So those who want a White Christmas...... I suggest Ottawa.
