Living vicariously......................

Right, first things first. This post, tomorrow's post and Wednesday's post are all from one conversation. Which is a lie, but let me tell you why. Tomorrow's post is the conversation, pretty much. Wednesday's post was something else I could have used in the conversation, but didn't think of it, and it's not so well known. Today's post was a thought that came to me which having the conversation. (get it???)

For those of you who like to do research, tomorrow's post is based on the film When Harry Met Sally and is about the changing relationships between men and women. (I need friends with fewer problems.....)

However, the thought that went through my mind while having this conversation was that I've been in Uni for quite some time time. So long that there are infact very few people left who are still in Uni, having started when I did. So, while talking about relationships between men and women I suddenly realised that one of my friends has had more "serious" relationships while at uni, that I've kissed girls, in the same time period. I would also like to point out that I've made a difference between girls I've kissed and those who've kissed me..... I'm hoping that my ginger sideburns is going to stop them......

Now that we're a week into the New Year, how are people finding their New Year Resolutions...??? This is how I'm doing.......
1)get used to talking on the phone - I've tried, but only one person that I tried to call over the weekend actually answered the phone. Which is annoying, cause one of the things I hate most about calling people is the actual calling them. Unless I'm told what time to call I'm forever worried that I'm going to be calling at an inconventient time....
2)not use the words "dump him (or her)." - I've already failed here, sort of, as it would depend on whether the people in question were actually going out or not yet..... but I said it.
3)oh drat.....what was number three.......there was a third one. But I've forgotten it. - and I've still forgotten it.
4)Keep Banana happy - which is vauge, but I think it was along the lines of not being single by the end of the year. I think I got her down from the being married. MrG has to be married with kids for by the end of the year for his version of this resolution!!!!
5)Keep my room tidy - this is going to be one of the toughest......however, at the moment my room is fairly ok.... a messy tidy as you might.....

So, 4/5 so far...... which you could say is good, then you remember that we're only nine days in..... ahh.....

some photos from home...... darts
