Last night I watched a new ITV programme called Jane Hall but more on that in a minute......
I went home for the weekend, on my drive back I did what I often do on long drives, I set off in a world of my own and somewhere along the line I came up with a brilliant byond brilliant idea. While pondering on the possibilities of wedding presents I thought, 'if they had the right sense of humour this book' would be quite good.'
[nb - I should probably say those under the age of, oh, sixteen or of a nervous temperment might not want to see what book it was.... oh, you think I should have put this before the link.....??]
The reason I mention this is near the end of the first episode of Jane Hall, she goes home to the wedding of a family friend and her wedding present....??? Yep, stole my idea from two days earlier. Though I suppose as it might have already been filmed the idea might not have been mine originally.
However, this is not the first time that an idea of mine has then appeared on a tv screen near you. The summer before I came to Uni reality tv started with a show called 'Driving School' which was great and started the ball rolling. My first house there were eleven of us and I thought that it would be really good television if for that year. See what we got up to and the like. Well, a year later and Channel Four had a reality tv programme where there were ten people in a house and they were filmed twentyfour hours a day. You might have heard of it, it's called Big Brother. Apparently it's quite popular.
