As promised here are a few of the pictures from my trip last weekend. These are giant stone pillars that were used to... well, really they're part of the under-floor heating system, which when you consider we're talking about 1900 years ago, that's pretty cool!!!
Here we have Sycamore Gap, which those of you who are film fans will reconize as being just a few miles from home of Robin of Loxley in Robin Hood - Prince of Thieves.
It was a lovely sunny day, which was unlike last time I was up here walking, when I got soaked to the skin.
There was also the landmark of my car passing the 100,000 mile mark. You'd never guess that it can be found in this book
I'm afraid that I'm going away again. Sorry, I have another tournament up in the Midlands (so a lot closer than Scotland) and then off home for my Nan's funeral on Monday.
