For anyone who didn't know (apparently there ae a few) today is the fortieth anniversary since the first episode of Star Trek was broadcast.
I know that there are now many people who are rolling their eyes, but wait, think about it. We're talking about a television series that has been going for forty years, five different series, a cartoon series, numerous books, ten films (eleventh on it's way) and even a language.
You can buy Hamlet in Klingon. Want a Bible passage in Klingon, that's available. THere are infact moe Klingon speakers in the world than there are esparanto speakers, and that's supposed to be anuniversal language!!!
