A few weeks back I applied for a job with BBC Radio Berkshire. I wasn't thinking much of it, I didn't think I would even get an interview. I thought that there's no harm in trying though.
Last week I got an email from the BBC. Expecting it to be a 'thankyou for your interest but goodbye' email I was surprised to discover that they were simply informing me that there had been a delay in process due to the fact that there had been a large influx of applicants.
A week later and I get another email from the BBC, nw this is surely my 'thanyou, but no' email, yes?? No, it's exactly the same as the previous email, telling me that there's been a delay due to number of applications.
If they send this email out every week till they actually do get through all the applicantions I'm going to get worried every thursday from, well two weeks ago till they're ready......
