I don't know about most people, but I've had a fairly wet couple of days. By this I mean that I've used up three raincoats in two days. Which isn't bad.
I used one yesterday by thinking that a little bit of rain wouldn't stop me from competing..... and despite three thunderstorms, a hail shower and a fairly strong wind it didn't. I was glad of my change of clothing in the car though. It meant I got soaked twice!!!
The next two were used up today at work. We're surveying an estate near Horsham. (by estate, we mean the posh one, the woods, fields and meadows around a big house) and it rained in the morning, and then it rained after lunch...... it does make you wonder why you get up at six o'clock in the morning really......
But none of this matters because of last night. Last night I went out to Guildford and watched my new Ice Hockey team win 2-0. Though they made hard work of it, but thankfully, I got to go home happy.
