Today (and tomorrow) I'm working up in London. This means getting up early to catch a train to I can get up to St John's for 8.30am.
And though the trains are all nice and new I must remember tomorrow that 'Cattle Class' isn't like 1st Class, which is where I sat this morning. At least until the guard chased me out. The nice, new trains are that nice and new!!!
I had a nice walk through Regent's Park on my way home, down Baker Street (the home of Sherlock Holmes) to visit The Chess Shop, and then across to Covent Garden to investigate a Canadian bar called 'The Maple Leaf'. Not as good as I'd hoped, but it might be better when they're showing a hockey game.
Tomorrow I'm hoping that despite the rain we shall finish early so I can go visit the Tate Modern to see THIS, which looks like fun (which is unlike most of the things that Tate Modern does). Then I'm going to visit the V&A as they are open late tomorrow. I was very surprised at teh fact that everywhere seems to close at six in the evening. All museums, galleries, places free to get into......
