Sometimes there er just great titles for blogposts, why didn't I think of Waltzing Matilda for my last post.... and if you're interested in the vicar's knickers the link is at the bottom of the post.
After yet another horrible early start (you'd have thought that I'd be starting to get used to them) we were pleasently surprised to discover that we were finished by lunchtime. Not too bad for a Friday!!! Heading over to my local library to return books I had a look through the classical section for a copy of a CD by Hayley Westenra having heard her on a compelation cd and a couple of times on Friday Night is Music Night on Radio2. When she was introduced as having one of the clearest singing voices I wasn't really paying attention. When she started singing I did.
After flicking through all the clasical CD's I thought it best to check the computer, just incase they either didn't have it, or it was on loan, which it wasn't. Somewhere on the shelves, so I looked through the classical section again. I eventually found one in the popular music section. Then again, with 'Wuthering Heights' on the CD I'm guessing you can't call it classical.
I also picked up a couple of 'Fairport Convention' CD's, to give them another go and some books. And now I'm going to have something to drink and fall asleep with one of those books in hand.
