Christmas Ball, Christmas Ball..... dum-dee dum-dee dum....
Now I know traditionally it is not so hard for guys to pick what to wear to such event. Shirt, tie, jacket... so.... dull. I prefer something a little bit more... colourful.
At the moment I'm trying to decide between my Santa Red shirt, or the Episcopal Purple. And then I have my choice of ties. Personally, I prefer bowties to normal ties at such events and by this I mean self-tie bowties. I have a couple. White or silver. The silver goes with the purple whereas the white goes with both. I can also wear my santa hat if I have if I wear the red and white.
However, I'm also considering the option of buying a new one..... and if so, what colour...??? I could get a black one, it'd work if I wore my waistcoat (dark grey).
So, in the knowledge that there must be people with a better idea than I, please, now is the time to tell!!!
