I don't really mean it, I just thought I'd carry on with the 'Bah Humbug' for Christmas.... and the rason I mention this now (as it is a little bit early) is that I'm off for a few days and won't get the chance till after New Years.... which might be a little late!!!

I'm sure you'll be glad to know that after my crash yesterday I'm doing ok. My knee does hurt, but that' to be expected after scrapping the skin off on the tarmac. Don't worry, got my revenge, the bike took a little chunk out of the road. Grrr...!!! The Doc is sending me off to get it X-ray'd, but that's more to do with the fact that he couldn't see what was making it hurt in the first place (that is, hurt before I banged it on the road).
I looked up the New Year's resolutions that I made last year;
1)get used to talking on the phone. I hate talking on the phone, and I don't know why. Well, apart from the fact that I can't see the other person, so I find it that much harder to read them and their body language, and I therefore don't know what I can and can't get away with saying. You also loose the ability to use your hands to wave around, which is something I do like to do when I get into talking.
2)not use the words "dump him (or her)." I've had to use them on a number of occasions in conversations this year, and I've (usually) felt uncomfortable in using them. Admittedly there are times when they have to be used, but that doesn't change the fact that I don't like to use them.
3)oh drat.....what was number three.......there was a third one. But I've forgotten it. I'll remember it soon, and then I'll list all of them round New Year's, then you can all watch and see if I keep them!!!!
Here's how I did;
1) - failed - I still hate talking on the phone,
2) - succeded - yay!! obviously not so many people have been dating idiots this year, well done everyone,
3) - failed - I think I decided this one was keeping my room tidy. Entropy is against me.
Any suggestions for this (next) year....??? Have a Happy New Year guys, see you in 2008!!!
