Home is where the heart is........

Those who pay attention to any new links that appear at the top, on the left there, might spot two new sites, which due to the fact that I am on the "writelog" page means I can't see what they're called again. But one was sent to me by Ece and other other I found as the first cleverly failed to have the three closest churches to my house.

Both of these are church finders which I've been told to use, mainly because I have yet to find myself somewhere. If you're wondering why I've been told to use them, it might have something about the fact that I spent a several weeks bugging Ece about finding herself a church when she moved home.

What goes around, comes around.

Thing is, I don't feel settled here. These last six months have been the longest I've spent at home for the last nine and a half years. Though I live here and this is my home, this is not where my heart is. It is not where I wish to be.

So I ask the question, why try to find a pernament church when I know it won't be pernament.

Of course, that leads nicely onto the next question of where I'd like to be....... ummm...... yes....

I don't know.

Not very helpful I realise, but as of yet I have very little to tie me down. There is something in me that just wants to know what's around that next corner. Over the next hill. There was a tv programme on when I was a child called The Littlest Hobo (the '79-'85 series) which was about a stray german shepherd who travelled from town-to-town helping people. I can't remember any of the episodes per say, but the themesong has stuck in my memory and I do sing it to myself quite often.... under my breath you understand.....

Maybe Tomorrow

There's a voice that keeps on calling me
Down the road is where I'll always be

Every stop I make, I'll make a new friend
Can't stay for long, just turn around and I'm gone again.

Maybe tomorrow, I'll want settle down,
Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.

Down this road, that never seems to end,
Where new adventure, lies just around the bend.

So if you want to join me for a while
Just grab your hat, come travel light - that's hobo style.

Maybe tomorrow, I'll want settle down,
Until tomorrow, the whole world is my home.

So if you want to join me for a while
Just grab your hat, come travel light
That's hobo style.

Maybe tomorrow, I'll want settle down,
Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.

Instrumental Bridge

Maybe tomorrow, I'll want settle down,
Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.

There's a world, that's waiting to unfold,
A brand new tale, no one has ever told,

We've journey'd far but, you know it won't be long,
We're almost there and we've paid our fare, with the hobo song.

Maybe tomorrow, I'll want settle down,
Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.

So if you want to join me for a while
Just grab your hat, come travel light - that's hobo style.

Maybe tomorrow, I'll find what I call home
Until tomorrow, you know I'm free to roam.
