I am now home, all safe and sound as I'm sure that everyone is glad to hear. It wasn't quite the longest trip that I've done this holiday, but it came cose. This was down to the simple fact that our plane was the ONLY plane flying out of Ottawa that was delayed. But for a good reason.
It seems that the Captain's windshield was leaking on the flight to Ottawa and they thought it might be a good idea to fix it. I wasn't going to complain. In the end they decided it would be easier to get a plane to fly down from Montreal to pick us up.
This is why it's important to always fly with a major carrier. They have spare planes!!!
And considering that I'm unable to sleep on planes there might be people wondering what on earth I'm still doing up over thirty hours after getting up. Well, I have nowhere to sleep.
By this I mean that while I was away my parents decided to take advantage and redecorate my room. And even though they knew when I was coming back have they even finished painting??? The new bed doesn't turn up till Friday!!!
I mean, really..... where is the planning there!!!
So, it'll be the sofa for me then......
NB - though I have reduced the number of photos down from four hundred and seven to three hundred and thirty-six it'll still take me a little bit of time to get them all up. Patience please, I will tell you when they're all ready!!!
